Prices of electricity for households rise by 4-5% from 1 July
Prices of electricity for households will rise by 4 - 5% from 1 July due to the inclusion of more expensive electricity from the Maritsa East 2 power plant in the mix, ordered by former energy minister Rosen Hristov.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission, Ivan Ivanov, after he took part in the energy forum "Green Transformation" on June 20.
He pointed out that the utilities regulator will not change the price of heating in the next 12 months.
