Twenty Bulgarian customs officers suspended from work in response to reports of bribery, received from the Austrian authorities
Twenty Bulgarian customs officers have been suspended from work following reports from the Austrian government and other partner services.
The customs officers were reportedly demanding bribes from Austrian carriers in order to avoid customs checks and waits at the Bulgarian border.
