WCC-DB candidate PM Nikolai Denkov announced the list of ministers in the proposed cabinet
The candidate Prime Minister from “We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria”, Acad, Nikolai Denkov, on June 2, announced at a joint briefing with GERB-UDF’s nominee, Mariya Gabriel, that a list of candidate cabinet ministers had been finalised.
Denkov said that on June 5, the structure and line-up of the proposed government would be presented to President Rumen Radev.
Today we had talks and negotiations on how to secure a majority to implement the constitutional reform. Changes in the laws alone will not complete the whole process, so it was necessary to see if we could secure 160 MPs for constitutional reform. On Monday, June 5, at 11 o'clock, we return the mandate," Acad. Nikolai Denkov said.
Here is the list of proposed government:

In addition to the composition of the government, we also have a majority for constitutional reform with the support of GERB-UDF, WCC-DB and MRF, said Mariya Gabriel.
"Thank you for your patience, thank you to all Bulgarian citizens. Thank you to acad. Denkov for his patience and dialogue, I would like to thank GERB-UDF, WCC-DB and MRF for putting the interests of the citizens above party interests and clearly stating the Euro-Atlantic orientation of the country. We have a joint declaration with Acad. Denkov that every Bulgarian citizen wants to live in a country which institutions are stable, working efficiently and professionally in the interests of the public and business. We stand behind every single employee in the administration, we will work to improve the quality of public administration," said Mariya Gabriel.
In her words, the common agenda envisages working on the following priorities - adopting key reform bills, transparent and accountable administration, ensuring the possibility of continuous monitoring by the public and feedback, ensuring quality services for citizens and businesses, generating economic growth.
"It will be very difficult, but we are convinced that this step is good for Bulgaria. Without a budget, the coming months will be extremely difficult. We are taking this risk with the clear understanding that if these changes we are taking on go in the wrong direction, we will both resign, because the point of this government is for the Parliament to be able to work," Denkov added.
He clarified that it was discussed how to prepare the relevant changes in the Constitution, how to approach all other important tasks, including the change of regulators.
"It was clearly said that everything would happen in public so that there would be no hidden agreements," Nikolay Denkov said.
The principle of having a clear mechanism for discussing the candidates for the regulators was confirmed today, Mariya Gabriel said.
Earlier, Academician Nikolai Denkov said that the composition of the Council of Ministers was adopted yesterday at all national councils of "We Continue the Change" and "Democratic Bulgaria".
