Wildfire in Sakar Mountain near Svilengrad contained
Some of the fronts of the massive wildfire in Sakar mountain, close to Svilengrad region, which burned across more than 110,000 acres of land in the last 4 days, have been contained.
20 fire engines with 70 firefighters, many forestry officials and volunteers remain on the scene to monitor the situation. The front to the village of Mladinovo is fully contained, the spread of flames to the villages of Mihalich and Shtit has been prevented.
