Worrying trend: Age of first illicit drug use is becoming younger

Study shows a worrying trend – the age of children trying different drugs for the first time is decreasing from older to younger.

Quite often, children aged 12-13 use strong drugs or other intoxicants.

This leads to drug addiction, family problems and the exclusion of young people from school.
