Bank employee arrested for stealing half a million BGN from customers
A 25-year-old bank employee was arrested on August 3. The detainee had stolen 500,000 BGN from customers, investigators from the Economic Police found.
The man filled out payment orders on behalf of the bank's customers and transferred the money to bank accounts he had access to. He was detained while trying to leave the country.
