Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 256 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 256 from 1,369 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on July 11.

The test positivity rate is 18.7%.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,178,189.

The active cases are 10,864.

Of the total, 453 patients are in hospitals, 36 of them being in intensive care.

Covid-19 vaccination centres will be opened in the major hospitals in Bulgaria

During the past 24 hours:

• 26 recoveries;

• 154 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

• 6 Covid-19 related death.

Of the daily cases, 65,62% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 83,33% had not been vaccinated.

There were 27 new hospitalisations, of which 81,48% had not been vaccinated.
