Two dead, two missing after the floods in the coastal town of Tsarevo

Two people have died after the flooding in Tsarevo, the town's mayor told BNT on September 5. Two people are missing, he added.

A search was launched earlier for three people swept away by flood waters.

It emerged that two of the missing people were a woman and her child who were washed away together with their car on a collapsed bridge.

Shortly after that, a man came to the bridge and was also washed away by the flood waters. He initially held onto a car but could not hold on any longer and was swept into the flood waters, witnesses said.
